Pakistan Festival at Trafalgar Square

The celebration on saturday consisted of a parade and a show. The parade which started from Hyde Park and made its way via Piccadilly Circus to Trafalgar Square included the Patiala Pipe Band, one of the oldest pipe bands in Pakistan. They were followed by the Chaudhry's TKC traditional Pakistani bus (Larri) from Southall.
Some of the famous personalities on the floating parade were Amir Khan, Abrar-ul-Haq and Waqar Yunus.

The show that took place at Trafalgar Square was presented by Nadia Khan of GEO TV. Some of the other music celebrities included Hadiqa Kiyani, Ali Zafar, Jawad Ahmed, Annie, and Najam Sheraz.
Fashion designer Maheen Khan creations were also on displayed on stage.
Trafalgar square was so fully packed that any one leaving or arriving late was not allowed back in. The crowd basked in the sunny weather.
