SACA Charity Bike Ride returns to Southall in September 2026
Thu 27 Aug 2026
Organised by the Sikh Arts & Cultural Association (SACA), the ride brings cyclists together to raise money for children's charities. SACA has organised charity rides since 1984, raising more than £700,000 over the years.
The September Fast Track ride will start in Birmingham at 7am. Riders are expected to reach Southall at around 6pm to 7pm, before completing the final stage at Southall Park.
The ride will finish with a fundraising parade through the streets of Southall. Local residents will be able to welcome the cyclists as they complete the long-distance journey.
This year's fundraising is for Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham, including the Home from Home Appeal. The appeal provides free accommodation for young cancer patients and their families while they receive treatment.
The same cause was supported by the Charity Bike Ride last year. The event continues SACA's long-running tradition of using cycling to raise money for children and support families.
