London Tigers will celebrate its 40th anniversary with a community Boishakhi Mela, bringing together residents, families and supporters for an afternoon of culture, entertainment and community spirit.

The free event takes place on Sunday 28 June from 3pm to 7pm at the London Tigers Sports and Wellbeing Centre in Spikes Bridge Park.

Visitors can enjoy a programme of cultural performances, traditional food, family-friendly activities, shopping stalls and community engagement activities. Organisers say the event will celebrate both the Bengali festival of Boishakh and four decades of London Tigers' work supporting local communities.

Founded in 1986, London Tigers has worked across a range of community programmes aimed at improving opportunities, wellbeing and social inclusion. The anniversary event will provide an opportunity to reflect on the organisation's achievements while celebrating the diverse cultures that make up Southall and the wider area.
