Join us for our upcoming Author Talks event on 2nd July 2025 featuring Dipna Anand.
Dipna Anand is a celebrated British chef, restaurateur, and educator, renowned for her fresh take on traditional Punjabi cuisine. As co-owner and culinary director of the iconic Brilliant Restaurant in Southall, she has been instrumental in raising the profile of Indian gastronomy in the UK.
Her leadership has earned the restaurant national recognition, including a feature on Channel 4's Ramsay’s Best Restaurant and a visit from King Charles, who praised its authentic flavours.
In 2025, Dipna launched Brilliant Gastro in Southall's Green Quarter—a gastropub that fuses Punjabi roots with modern British cooking. She continues to inspire through her cookbooks, TV appearances, and guest lectures, cementing her reputation as a true culinary pioneer.
The Sher Jung Foundation is delighted to announce that all three of Dipna’s cookbooks—Deliciously Brilliant, Dip In, and Beyond Brilliant—will be available for purchase and signing at our event.
