The Springfields had success in the early sixties with hits Island Of Dreams, Say I Won‘t Be There and Silver Threads and Golden Needles, which reached the top twenty in the USA.
The group was formed in 1960 by Tom Springfield with his sister Dusty who went on to become a star in her own right, and Mike went on to produce over 50 hits.
After a highly-successful performance at London’s Royal Albert Hall, founder member Mike Hurst has reformed the group for a world tour.
