Murder investigation launched after fatal stabbing in Southall

Emergency services were called to North Road at around 12.41am on 10 June 2026 after the London Ambulance Service reported an incident involving two injured men.
Police officers and paramedics attended the scene, where a man in his 20s was found with a knife wound. Despite efforts to save him, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
A second man was also injured and was taken to hospital. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Detectives from the Metropolitan Police's Specialist Crime Command have launched a murder investigation and enquiries are continuing to identify and inform the deceased man's next of kin.
Seven men, aged between their early 20s and late 30s, were arrested on suspicion of murder. Six remain in police custody, while a seventh man, aged in his 30s, remains in hospital.
Detective Chief Inspector Matthew Denby, who is leading the investigation, said officers believe the injuries were sustained during an altercation outside a property on North Road.
Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone with CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage from the area around the time of the incident to come forward.
