Fire erupts at Southall Recycling Centre

Approximately 60 firefighters from Southall, Hayes, Feltham, and nearby stations responded with eight fire engines. The London Fire Brigade reported that the fire was brought under control by 20:35. No injuries were reported.
Smoke from the fire caused a partial closure of the nearby Great Western Main Line. Great Western Railway warned that disruptions were expected to continue until 23:00 and advised passengers to seek alternative routes
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
Residents described a fireball lighting up the sky during the incident, which began around 17:33. Fire crews worked quickly to contain the flames and prevent further damage.
