The Southall Grand Union Canal Mural was unveiled on the wet morning of Thursday, 25 August 2022.
This community-led project aimed to revitalize a neglected entrance to the Grand Union Canal near the Army Reserve Centre. The area had suffered years of neglect and had become a hotspot for anti-social behaviour, and the mural now brings colour, creativity, and a sense of pride to the local community.
