The Hanwell Carnival is just around the corner, offering a variety of entertainment for both kids and adults, including live bands, community performances, charity stalls, a fun fair, and children's activities.

Attracting up to 30,000 visitors annually, the carnival typically kicks off with a lively and colorful parade from Hanwell Community Centre. This year's parade theme is "HANWELL – INTO THE FUTURE."

Most participants complete the 2.3-mile (3.7 km) procession on foot, heading to Elthorne Park, where they can enjoy music, food, dancing, animal displays, fun fair rides, and much more.

Assemble for the procession at Hanwell Community Centre (W7 1PD) on Westcott Crescent at 10:00 am. The parade sets off around 11:00 am, featuring schoolchildren, sports players, charities, and faith groups, with plenty of room for more participants. The parade aims to arrive at Elthorne Park by 12:30 pm, just in time for the Grand Opening Ceremony of the Carnival.

The festivities will continue in the park until 6:00 pm.

This is one of the biggest fundraising events for many local charities, so come and show your support.
