Tiny Forest Planting Day: Southall Recreation Ground

Come and plant a new Tiny Forest at Southall Recreation Ground, Southall – 600 trees to be planted.
Canon Europe and Ealing Council, in collaboration with Earthwatch Europe, are creating a Tiny Forest in Southall.
This compact, swiftly growing woodland will comprise of 600 trees planted in an area the size of a tennis court.
Serving as an appealing habitat for wildlife and an enjoyable space for people, Tiny Forests also offer various benefits in the battle against climate change.
The session is scheduled from 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm. Please arrive at the beginning of your session to ensure everyone interested can participate in planting a tree. You are free to stay for as short or as long a time as you prefer.
We highly recommend wearing long sleeves, long trousers, and outdoor footwear such as wellies or walking boots. While equipment will be provided on the day, you are welcome to bring your gardening gloves and a spade if you have them.
Join us on Thursday, 22nd February, as we plant the trees that will form the Tiny Forest.
