At least 18,600 Gazan residents had been killed and 50,000 injured by the Israeli military - mainly women and children. 80% of the 2.3 million people have been displaced and 45% of homes damaged or destroyed. The Israelis are withholding food, water and power.

Many people are calling this genocide. Most of the British public opposes the slaughter. We must protest because politicians are supporting the bombing and starvation of civilians, while British mainstream media reports are very one-sided, focusing on Israel and not on Palestinian suffering.

A senior UN aid official has warned that half of Gaza's population is starving and nine out of 10 people cannot eat every day.

Nine out of 10 families in some areas are spending "a full day and night without any food at all", according to a senior UN aid official.

The Gaza humanitarian zone is NOT humane. The "humanitarian zone", for two million displaced civilians, is smaller than London's Heathrow Airport.

Israel has killed more than 18,600 Gazans and injured 50,000 people in its retaliatory campaign, including more than 7,000 children.

UN Secretary-General, António Guterres, said "In the name of humanity, I call for an immediate humanitarian cease fire".

Why do Western democratic leaders not listen?

The EU Commission President, Ursula von der Leyen, says: "The rise in violence by extremist settlers is inflicting immense suffering on the Palestinians”. This has been going on for decades and is official Israeli policy.

The Palestinian people have never given up their struggle for their homeland. Israel has continued to take over the lands of the Palestinian people and deprive them of their home-land.

The state of Israel does not want to solve the problem peacefully even though they pretended to do that during the talks with Palestinian leadership from 1988 till 2005.

They had no intention of creating a State for the Palestinians. They continue to build new settlements violating the international law, which prohibits to build settlements on the occupied areas.

The Anglo-American imperialists have no love for either the Jewish people, or the Palestinian people, or other Arab peoples.

Israel was created by the Anglo-American imperialists to have an armed force in the Middle East to facilitate looting the oil there.

War is an important tool to boost the economies in US and Britain, by gifting the most modern and sophisticated arms to the Zionists.
