All proceeds will go to the Friends of Victoria Hall fund to save the Victoria Hall Ealing.

You will of course be aware of Ealing Council’s plan to “sell off” the majority of the Town Hall – including some publically accessible areas – to a hotel chain for up to 250 years with resultant restrictions on use by local residents. This will include areas owned by a trust set up when the hall was built in the 1890s and not actually under direct control of the council.

These restrictions have already started and have resulted in the removal of facilities for local groups such as U3A and dance classes etc etc

A Wonderful Adventure is a theatre company based in heart of the borough which, like the rest of us, is facing the prospect of losing affordable access to central Ealing’s largest indoor community space.

The money raised at the performance will help pay for the legal advice we need to help with our objections to the draft scheme proposed by the Charity Commission. This would allow Ealing Council to dispose of the Trust's property and have it run as part of a commercial hotel.
