Home insulation funding available

Sun 15 Feb 2015
Ealing residents could receive up to 100% funding for loft and cavity wall insulation to help keep their homes warm this winter.

Ealing residents could receive up to 100% funding for loft and cavity wall insulation to help keep their homes warm this winter. The funding, which is being offered through a Green Homes Together programme, is available on a first-come, first-served basis until the end of March 2015.

Residents concerned about the level of insulation in their homes can apply for a free assessment to determine how much funding they could receive towards loft and cavity wall insulation in their home. The amount received will be dependent on the amount of energy that can be saved in the property.

Councillor Jasbir Anand, cabinet member for housing, employment and skills said: "On average, a quarter of the heat in your home is lost through an uninsulated loft. Insulation is an effective way of keeping in the warmth and lowering your energy bills."

"Anyone can apply for the funding, regardless of income, benefits and postcode. If you, or someone you know can benefit from better insulation in your home, enquire with the Green Homes Together team today and make the most of this great opportunity."

Green Homes Together is a community interest company formed of a number of Local Authorities including Ealing Council.
