The Hanwell Carnival is just around the corner with plenty for kids and adults alike, including live bands, community acts, charities, fun fair and children’s activities.
The Carnival attracts up to 50,000 visitors each year. It gets underway with a noisy and vibrant parade from Hanwell Community Centre. The theme for 2018 is "Hanwell My Home".
Most people do the procession on foot – it’s only a mile or so - to Elthorne Park, where music, food, dancing, animals, fun fair rides and much, much more awaits.
For the procession asssemble at Hanwell Community Centre in Westcott Crescent at 10:00 am and leaves just after 11:00 am. Schoolchildren, sports players, charities and faith groups are among those taking part and there’s plenty of room for more.
The party will continue there from until 6pm.
Remember, entry to the park is free and there will be plenty to keep both young and old entertained.
